Wedding Estates Southern California
Wedding estates Southern California -our company has access to hundreds of beautiful properties in the greater Los Angeles area. Once you have determined that this is the route that you want to take, please make sure that you consider these steps first before booking a private estate.
Here is a list of questions to consider before you rent a private property for an event:
- Determine your guest count. It is important to know what the maximum count will be, so you can get an accurate rental fee from the homeowner. Always estimate the possible high number to get a better rate if your guest count increases.
- Do you have a rental budget range for the venue? Property rentals start around $12,000 and go up. The ranges vary due to the type of property, your guest count, how many days you will need for setup, the event and tear down of the rentals. We recommend not spending more than 20% of your overall budget on the property, since everything else must be brought onto property. If you are on a strict budget, we don’t recommend going this route since costs can quickly add-up.
- What time will your event end? Neighbors are an important factor when renting a private property. If you are planning on going late, then we recommend that you reconsider having your event at a private estate unless there is a ballroom large enough to contain the sound.
- Band vs. DJ – bands are great, but controlling the sound levels can be more challenging than a DJ. If you must have a band, plan on having them perform earlier in the evening, then maybe consider having a DJ perform at an after party.
- If you have never planned an event at a private estate before, please hire an experienced event planner who has produced events at private estates. There is a lot of logistics and event details that must be handled from event permits, traffic control if the street is narrow or challenging, rentals (think of it as bringing a restaurant to someone’s home), valet or shuttle or Uber and Lyft, guest flow, and weather plans to name a few.
